No. Federal Law prohibits the sale and shipment of firearms to individuals. All firearms must be shipped to a firearms dealer who possesses a current and valid Federal Firearms License ("FFL"). If you cannot locate an FFL dealer and wish to purchase our products, we are happy to assist you

The vendors for those products, many of which Navy Arms were their first and only customer, now import and sell those same model guns directly through their own companies. From a business standpoint, this would mean our vendor for those products would also be our competitor for customers of that product. Mr. Forgett made the decision that this is not a viable business model.

The current manufacturers of 19th Century muzzle loading, single action and lever action arms provide high quality products at good prices, as they have done since the time Navy Arms carried those products for decades. As such, there is not need for another marketer of those models.

Navy Arms will continue to market certain replica firearms it believes there is a need for in the market not well-served by other sources, and also look to make replicas of more modern classic firearms where there is a need.

After the death of Val Forgett, Jr., in 2002, his son, Val Forgett III, owned and operated Gibbs Rifle Company, that was also an importer of surplus firearms. That business continued under Gibbs until Mr. Forgett closed that business over 10 years ago to focus on other market opportunities, including Old Western Scrounger, LLC (www.ows-ammo.com), that currently sells surplus arms.

Navy Arms is again importing certain surplus arms and, depending on the model, quantity, condition, etc., will market those products either directly or through dealers and distributors.

A distributor is a company that purchases and stocks large quantities of firearms/ammunition/accessories directly from manufacturers and importers, then re-sells them in smaller quantities to firearms dealers, who then sell to the general public. Firearms distributors do not sell products to the general public, only to other licensed dealers.

Navy Arms stopped marketing replica firearms nearly twenty years ago. In that time many of the models it carried have had changes made to those guns where the parts currently made may or may not fit the older Navy Arms guns. We do still have a very small inventory of some parts for some guns. If you wish to purchase a part, please click on our past products section (create hotlink) to access parts diagrams from our former vendors to identify the part you need, then email us with the information on the part you need and we are happy to check on price and availability. We also encourage you to contact VTI Gun Parts (www.vtigunparts.com) as they carry a large selection of parts for replica firearms from most of the major manufacturers (Uberti, Pietta, Pedersoli, etc.).
